Char, luv,
The best of news, lass, Bridget was delivered of a lively and perfect baby girl this morn after her long and difficult pregnancy. The delivery was difficult as well, so Frank will be hard pressed to convince her of a need for more babes in the house. She is exhausted and spent but the physicians assure us of her complete recovery, if a bit longer than usual.

The babe is a lovely lass, Catherine Mary, named after Bridget’s two sisters in Ulster. We’ll be after letting you know when the Christening will be. Not too soon as Bridget will want to be fully up and about now. No doubt Father Rory will be accommodating.

Take care of yourself, luv, and the next babe to be welcomed to our family.

And come to see us as soon as you can to be after congratulating your brother! And your father as well, Cian is thrilled right and proper!
